The Bake House Kandy is one of Sri Lanka's most beloved local bakeries — serving fresh cakes, kottu, fried rice, and homemade savouries to the heart of Kandy for years. Tenac was brought in to take their brand online and grow their customer base through a complete digital presence — from a fully functional e-commerce website to an active, engaging social media strategy.

Our team built a WooCommerce e-commerce website that lets customers browse the full menu, place orders, and pay online with delivery across Kandy city. Alongside the website, we took over their complete social media management — creating content, running campaigns, and building a loyal community on Facebook and Instagram that keeps customers coming back.

Project Research

Before starting, our team studied The Bake House Kandy's existing customer base, local competitors, and the food and beverage market in Kandy. We identified that their loyal customers were already active on Facebook and Instagram — but the brand had no consistent content strategy or online ordering system to convert that interest into sales.

We mapped out a content plan built around their menu highlights, seasonal promotions, and customer reviews — combined with a website structure designed to make online ordering as simple and fast as walking in to the shop.
