Emerald Valley Estate is a leading Ceylon cinnamon producer and exporter based in Kaluwalagala, Galle — cultivating the unique indigenous species of Cinnamomum zeylanicum across 50+ acres of lush plantation land in Sri Lanka's southern province. With global customers from Kuwait to the United Kingdom, they needed a complete digital presence and professional media content that matched the premium quality of their product.

Tenac handled the full project — designing and developing their website from scratch, producing professional product photography that showcases their cinnamon, spices, and dehydrated tropical fruits, and creating videography content that tells the story of Emerald Valley Estate from farm to table. The result is a brand that now confidently represents Sri Lanka's finest Ceylon cinnamon to a worldwide audience.

Project Research

Emerald Valley Estate operates in a highly competitive global spice export market — competing with producers from across Asia and beyond. Before starting, our team studied their target audience of international bulk buyers, wholesalers, and premium spice retailers across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.

We identified that their biggest challenge was communicating the authenticity, quality, and origin of genuine Ceylon cinnamon to buyers who cannot visit the plantation in person. Our strategy was to build a website and produce photography and video content that bridges that gap — bringing the lush green plantation, the harvesting process, and the finished product to life for global buyers.

Project Results

The new website, photography, and videography gave Emerald Valley Estate a world-class digital presence that reflects the premium quality of their products. International buyers from Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and beyond now have a professional platform to explore products, request quotes, and connect with the team directly. The product photography elevated the visual presentation of their cinnamon quills, powder, oil, cloves, black pepper, turmeric, and dehydrated tropical fruits — giving each product the premium look it deserves. The brand video brought the farm-to-table story to life, building trust with global buyers who value authenticity and traceability in their supply chain.
